Cancellation Policy
At Peace of Mind Counselling Services, I understand that plans can change. This policy helps ensure appointments are managed fairly and that time reserved specifically for you is respected. Booking & Payment Sessions and programmes must be booked in advance, with payment required at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed. Your booking is confirmed once payment has been received. Cancellations & Rescheduling Please provide at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. With 48 hours’ notice or more, your payment can be transferred to another available appointment at no additional charge. Cancellations with less than 48 hours’ notice are non-refundable and the full session fee remains payable. For prepaid blocks, late cancellations and missed appointments will be deducted from your remaining sessions. I understand that genuine emergencies or exceptional circumstances happen and these may be considered individually. Late & Missed Appointments If you are running late, please let me know as soon as possible. If I haven’t heard from you, I will contact you approximately 10 minutes after your scheduled start time. After 15 minutes, the appointment will be treated as missed and the full fee will remain payable. For prepaid blocks, the session will be deducted from your remaining sessions. If you arrive within the 15-minute window, your session can continue but will still finish at the originally scheduled time. Therapeutic Group Programmes Programme fees secure your place and are non-refundable once the programme has started. As sessions take place on scheduled dates, individual missed sessions cannot be rearranged or refunded. Please provide as much notice as possible if you cannot attend. If Peace of Mind Cancels If I need to cancel or rearrange your appointment, you will be offered an alternative date or a full refund/credit for the affected session. Refunds Refunds are not available for late cancellations, missed appointments, sessions deducted from prepaid blocks due to non-attendance, or individual sessions missed within a group programme. Where sufficient notice is provided, eligible payments can be transferred to a rescheduled appointment.
